Location:Anara exploration’s block in Ilam province (South west of Iran) near the border of Iran and Iraq, Northwest of process units of Cheshmehkhosh.
Brief description of project goals:
The main objective of the project is to increase the volume of oil extraction from Sarvak. Azar oil field, including wells and equipment to achieve the objective of the project with total production 65,000 barrels per day which will be done in two stages.
Description of the field:
First stage: ( Early Production)
Duration of the first stage 36 months and its purpose is oil production with the construction of surface facilities and starting production at least 30,000 barrels per day after 36 months. This stage includes drilling of 7productional wells, repair of the well of Azar No.2, and its completion as oil production, and installation of separator, water injection surplus in stage No.1 and construction of a 155 Km oil export pipeline 16-inch to production unit of Dehloran.
Second stage: (Final Production)
Duration of the second stage 19 months and its purpose is increasing production with capacity 35,000 barrels (totally 65,000 barrels) per day. This stage includes 9 wells, construction of production unit with capacity 71,500 barrels oil per day and 80 million cubic feet gas per day, construction of 85 Km oil pipeline 16-inch from Dehloran to the first of transfer line of Cheshmehkhosh and construction of 155 Km gas export pipeline 16-inch to Gas unit and liquid gas of Dehloran (NGL-3100).
The ultimate capacity of 18 wells harvest oil field with capacity 65,000 barrels sweet oil Per day and the main purpose is transfer this product to production unit of Cheshmehkhosh and Dehloran .( NGL-3100)
Work explanation:
In this project, drilling wells is anticipated following plus wellhead, pipeline, processes units, utilities:
- Drilling 16 new wells oil production
- Drilling 1 work over well
- Drilling 1 appraisal well
- Drilling 1 testing well
- Early production system (EPS) defined as part of the oil field development. Wells and facilities for early production needed are mainly included:
- 8 production well
- Instrument air system and utilities
- Storage tank
- Export pipeline to Dehloran
- First stage separator from CPF unit , Flare system complement, transfer pump output
- Manifold
- Flare system and control room
- Generator power
- Multi-phases metering system
