Gas Extraction from South Pars Reached 430 million cubic meters per day

Deputy Managing Director of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Farrokh Alikhani, said on Tuesday that gas extraction from South Pars Gas Field has reached 430 million cubic meters a day, from 250 million cubic meters a day.
Alikhani made the remark in an interview with reporters on the sidelines of ceremony to install platform B18 of South Pars.
According to Shana, He said the platform was installed in a fully safe condition without causing any incident to the extent that safety standard observation has turned into a culture at the oil and gas companies.
He added that completion and operation of all the phases will result in injection of 430 million cubic meters of gas to the nationwide network.
Alikhani also added that Current level of gas extraction from South Pars is 430 million cubic meters a day, which with installation and operation of six more platforms in South Pars by the end of this year, Iran’s gas recovery capacity will reach 540 million cubic meters a day.
