Iran’s Research Institute of Petroleum Industry and France’s Oil Industry Institute signed an agreement on research cooperation in oil industry.
According to IRNA news agency, The agreement was signed by Head of RIPI, Hamid Reza Katozian and Managing Director of IFP Group, Didier Houssin, on Tuesday July 19th.
According to the agreement the two sides will cooperate in the field of upstream and downstream oil industry, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), reservoirs study, gas desalination and reduction of environmental pollution.
Katozian emphasized iran’s plan for expanding its international cooperation in oil industry. He also implied the cooperation between the two countries in the past which, were suspended during the sanctions and said the new round of cooperation between the two sides will form.
Yadavaran is one of the largest Iranian oil fields which is located in Khoozestan province. The first phase of the plan was developed by China’s SINOPEC where Oil and Energy Industries Development Co. performed the management plan of it.
