The weekly meeting of managers of Qeshm Oil and Energy Industries Development Company (OEID) was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in a cordial and impactful atmosphere, with the presence of Dr. Behzad Shamsi, Board Member of National Iranian Oil Company and Acting Director General of Audit and Board Affairs Department of the Ministry of Oil.
This meeting was convened with the aim of introducing the specialized team and outstanding capabilities of OEID, reviewing progress in ongoing projects, and identifying existing capacities for undertaking new projects.
During the meeting, the company managers introduced themselves and explained the executive activities under their management and supervision, while enumerating some challenges, executive problems of projects, and existing obstacles in achieving predetermined goals.
A comprehensive report was also presented by the respected management of Business Planning and Development Department, which described the company’s changes since the tenure of Dr. Abdolhadi Motlagh, the respected CEO. The report clearly presented the significant progress made in project execution phases since the new management took office.
Subsequently, Dr. Behzad Shamsi, while addressing macro issues and problems affecting all executive projects in the country, acknowledged OEID’s evident commitment and efforts in advancing projects and appreciated the company’s continuous and tangible efforts in achieving defined objectives. Dr. Shamsi also emphasized the Ministry of Oil’s comprehensive cooperation to accelerate the resolution of obstacles and assured that with continued efforts and enhanced coordination, the path for the progress of Qeshm Oil and Energy Industries Development Company would become smoother.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abdolhadi Motlagh, while referring to issues and challenges the company has faced since the beginning of his management tenure, emphasized the unrelenting efforts and strategic programs developed and implemented to solve these problems. He also expressed great appreciation for the valuable presence and support of Dr. Behzad Shamsi in this meeting and stressed the importance of continuing constructive interactions to achieve excellence and greater successes.
